Business IT Support

TCS Business provide business support on an ad-hoc or contract basis, we do not tie customers into complex annual contracts and all contracts are provided on a simple rolling monthly basis. When a contract is agreed an invoice is issued, the support agreement commences on the payment of the initial invoice and is continuous until either party provides one month’s notice to terminate the agreement.

With offices in Truro and Newquay we provide support throughout Mid-Cornwall including Truro, Newquay, St Austell, Redruth, Cambourne, Wadebridge and Bodmin.

Ad-Hoc Support

Ad-hoc support is of course provided on an as and when basis with no contract, it is totally reactive support and of course relies on issues being reported by the customer or requests to make checks to the system. There are of course no guaranteed response times for ad-hoc support and contract customers take precedence, that said we will always respond as soon as we are able.

Ad-Hoc Support Rate – £40.00 per hour plus VAT

SLA (Service Level Agreement) Only Support

This is our most popular package for smaller businesses or larger businesses where an occasional higher level of expertise is required. A small monthly fee is paid which covers a basic SLA agreement, this provides defined response times and service levels, we also monitor backups and perform regular server checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Any actual work required on the systems is then provided on an hourly basis but charged at a 20% discounted rate.

SLA Only Contract – £40 plus VAT per month
Hourly Support Rate (Contract Customers) – £32 per hour plus VAT

Fully Inclusive Service Level Agreement

Aimed mostly at medium sized businesses or businesses with a very high reliance on IT this is a single monthly payment to cover all of the required IT support (this covers IT issues not new installations etc.). Pricing is dependent on the number and type of servers, computers and peripherals you have. A full services level agreement requires an initial system assessment to check for pre-existing issues that would need to be corrected or excluded prior to the commencement of an agreement
A full SLA of course again includes the monitoring of backups and servers. Any additional chargeable work required (such as installations) would again be provided at a 20% discounted rate.
